1950s Italian Capodimonte Reticulated Basket Bowl 3D Forget-Me-Not

Mid-Century 1950's Vintage Italian Ceramic Lattice Basket, Applied Alpine Flowers 7"

Add some Vintage Italian Countryside style to your home décor with this beautiful, authentic 1950s Italian ceramic basket bowl. Styled in the iconic Capodimonte tradition—originating from the celebrated pottery hubs of northern Italy like Bassano or Nove—this standalone piece is a magnificent showcase of mid-century Italian majolica.

The bowl features a delicate, lightweight construction utilizing a cleanly punched square open-work lattice pattern that mimics a woven wicker basket. It is anchored by a gorgeous twisted faux-rope handle.

The handle base splits elegantly on both sides to support a cluster of hand-sculpted, three-dimensional applied alpine wildflowers, including striking five-petal blue forget-me-nots and a rolled yellow blossom.

Peering inside reveals a vibrant, folk-art-style multi-colored floral bouquet painted directly onto the glossy interior glaze.
