Vintage 1976 "Prince of Peace" Catholic New American Bible with illustrations in Original Aromatic Cedar Presentation Case

This Cedar Case set is a beautifully preserved piece of mid-century American history. This 1976 "Prince of Peace" Catholic Edition of the New American Bible (Today, Inc.) comes housed in its original, gorgeous hinged cedar wood presentation box with an engraved/etched title and cross design.

This Prince of Peace Editions features beautiful illustrations and copies of famous bible art pieces from various artists of its time. It also features amazing photos of liturgy demotions with educational footnotes.  

​This specific set was gifted as a memorial tribute by the Transport Workers Union of America (AFL-CIO) Local 245, featuring the original sympathy card neatly tucked inside the lid beneath a classic Warner Sallman Christ at Heart’s Door lithograph.

• ​Holy Bible: Great vintage condition with little to no signs of actual use. The padded white cover and gold gilt detailing are beautifully preserved. All pages are fully accounted for, completely free of writing, tears, or damage.
