Give your retro home décor a lively look with this beautifully hand-enameled mid-to-late 20th-century Asian export porcelain display dish. Designed in the striking Wucai / Famille Verte revival style palette, the front showcases a highly detailed court garden scene featuring two elegant imperial ladies, a classic towering ceremonial leaf fan, vibrant blooming peonies, and a traditional scholars' rock. 

The plate is beautifully finished with a distinct scalloped/lobed octagonal rim highlighted by an iron-red trim line, making it an excellent statement piece for Chinoiserie chic, Hollywood Regency, or eclectic gallery walls.

Condition

• Overall: This plate is in great vintage condition. The front display face is wonderfully preserved with no chips, cracks, surface scratches, or major glaze crazing, and no flea bites. 

• Design: The hand-painted enamel color remains exceptionally vibrant with zero color fading,  

• Label: The red backstamp is clean and clearly legible with little to no fade.

• Patina: The backside displays minor authentic vintage shelf patina wear along the unglazed base foot rim from decades of display. 

• Rare-Kiln Note: A dark brown furnace stone embedded on the mid-edge of the base that was completely coated and sealed over under the factory glaze during the production process, adding unique historical character (see photos).
